Sonubaits Cheesy Garlic Pellets combine the proven fish-catching properties of halibut pellets with a highly concentrated cheesy garlic flavour, creating a potent bait that is particularly effective for specimen fish such as barbel and chub. The strong aroma makes these pellets an excellent choice for flooded, coloured or murky water, helping to draw fish towards your swim.

The black halibut pellets can be used dry straight from the bag, with the 4mm size being particularly effective through a maggot feeder. As the pellets slowly release, the powerful cheesy garlic scent and a steady trickle of bait wash downstream towards your hookbait. They can also be used in mesh or river feeders by lightly dampening them first.
To prepare the pellets for a mesh feeder, place the required amount into a bait tub and add just enough water to coat the outside. Shake thoroughly and leave for around 30 minutes, shaking every five minutes to ensure the water is evenly absorbed. The pellets will soften slightly, allowing them to be compressed into a feeder. Squeezing them more firmly will slow the rate at which they break down and release, giving you greater control over your feeding strategy.
At the beginning of a session, squeezing the pellets lightly allows bait to disperse quickly and establish a bed of feed. As the session progresses, compressing them more firmly slows the release and can encourage more competitive feeding around your hookbait.
