Developed from the original Thatchers recipe, Thatchers Original has earned a strong reputation among top anglers since its launch. Building on the success of the natural-coloured Original mix, the range has now been expanded with two additional options. Thatchers Dark is a darker version of the proven original formula and is ideal for anglers who prefer a darker groundbait when targeting silverfish, particularly during the colder months or when increased water clarity calls for a more subtle presentation.

Mixing Instructions

Pro Thatchers Dark is quick and easy to prepare. Empty the contents of the bag into a round mixing bucket, then fill a one-pint maggot tub with water and pour it over the groundbait. Mix thoroughly and leave to stand for approximately 30 minutes, allowing the bait to fully absorb the water.

For the best consistency, pass the mixed groundbait through a riddle to remove any lumps and create a smooth, even texture. It is then ready to use.

Alternatively, a drill and whisk can be used for mixing, a method that has become increasingly popular with many of our consultants thanks to its speed and ability to produce a perfectly blended mix.

Returns

If it is deemed necessary to return an item for exchange or refund, please note the following:

Goods returned must be in original packaging, with labels still attached.

Notification of intention to return must be provided within 14 days of receipt.

Goods must be delivered to us within 14 days of return notification.

Goods must have accompanying copy receipt for return.

Goods returned unwanted are subject to a minimum postage charge of £3.50 or the actual delivery costs incurred to us, whichever is the greater.

Returned goods must be in new condition, i.e. unused and unmarked with labels attached.

Costs incurred in returning items are your responsibility.
