Squid meal not only enhances the mix with its strong aroma and fish-attracting properties, but also provides an excellent source of protein — an essential part of a fish’s diet that they actively seek out when feeding.
With its distinctive red/brown colour, Krill & Squid Groundbait is a versatile all-round mix that produces excellent results across a variety of methods. Whether fished on the feeder, introduced using a pole-mounted cup, or loose fed by hand, it is a highly effective choice. It also makes an outstanding big-fish mix, perfect for use on the method feeder or when potted down the margins.

Mixing Guidelines:
- Empty the contents into a large mixing bowl or bucket
- Using a 2-pint bait tub as a measure, add water gradually to the dry groundbait
- Mix thoroughly to ensure the water is evenly distributed throughout the mix
- Leave to stand, allowing the groundbait to fully absorb the water
- Adjust the consistency to suit your preferred fishing method
- Pass through a riddle to remove any lumps and create an even texture
Alternatively, a drill and whisk can be used for mixing, which is now the preferred method of many consultants for achieving a consistent blend quickly and easily.
